Good People
I have purchased from a few local shops. Austin Coins was my first online purchase. The customer service is great. Though it's not all their fault, it took quite a bit of time to get my bullion due to the ups-and-downs of buying online and waiting for stuff to clear. Still I would buy from them if I make any more online purchases. They seem to be honest people.

Placed 3 orders with Austin Coins in 2007, without any problems whatsoever. S&H (including ins) is rather high. Overall, shipping is prompt and very satisfied with order placed.

The company was very helpful and went the extra mile after the sale. Not only did I get an email confirmation but also a phone call. The salesperson also sent me more information on how to diversify better and wanted to talk to me more about my portfolio. I have never gotten this great of 'after the sale' treatment. I am recommending this company to family and friends.
