**UPDATE FROM JM BULLION**

There has been a recent spike in negative reviews about our company and we wanted to take some time to address it. In an effort to greatly enhance our shipping process and inventory capabilities, we recently relocated our distribution center, and unfortunately the transition did not go nearly as smoothly as planned. Several compounded issues led to delays in shipments and poor product packaging with certain orders, which also led to increased response times with our Customer Service team. Despite these initial hiccups, we are confident the issues are now behind us and we are extremely excited as we will soon provide quicker and more efficient order processing than ever. 

As mentioned on our Facebook page, we will soon be running a major "apology" promotion, to hopefully make it up to all customers who experienced issues with their orders. Filing a claim

JM claimed they shipped item and gave me a UPS tracking #. Package showed in-transit an d to deliver mon. 4/14/14. When it never arrived I called UPS and they said they never picked up any package and that I should file a fraud claim. I tried to reach JM but was put on hold repeatedly for long durations and never got through. They havent contacted me yet on this matter. Very dissatisfied. If I ever get my silver it will be my first and last order

Beware!!!!!!

Consistently poor service

Great all around. Was hesitant to buy based on previous reviews, but they seemed to have everything in order. Have made several orders with jm bullion, normally i pay with credit card and only buy $200-$400 worth of metals at a time (wish i could buy more). Overall service has been good, about on par with Provident Metals. They normally take between 1-5 working days to ship which is pretty good (Ive had mine shipped as fast as one day and as slow as a week, but that was during the busy period where silver dropped. So overall, if you want lighting fast speed, go with APMEX, but be prepared to pay a much higher price. If you dont mind waiting a few extra days, buy with JM and save some $$$.

And when I did call customer support with a question my call was answered right away no wating or run arounds I will most defenetly be ordering more jm got a life time customer. All the negative reviews had me worried for nothing .

You havent fixed the priblems

I placed two orders from this company in one day and another order from apmex.
3 days later apmex order came in and then i placed another order from apmex and it came in after that i recieved part of my order from jm bullion and since i have placed a 3rd order from apmex and recieved it. This was an order for 20 silver US Liberty dollars. I received the order exactly two weeks after I placed it, sent by 2-day USPS. My only concern was that there was no signature requirement upon delivery and the postman would have just left it on my doorstep had I not been home. Had someone picked it up off my porch I'd have been SOL.

Great!

This was an order for 20 silver US Liberty dollars. I received the order exactly two weeks after I placed it, sent by 2-day USPS. My only concern was that there was no signature requirement upon delivery and the postman would have just left it on my doorstep had I not been home. Had someone picked it up off my porch I'd have been SOL.

Got my money, but no product, no customer service

Ordered 25 days ago with a check, they held it 2 weeks and then shipped. But it never arrived. UPS claimed it's delivered. But It's not. It's signature required. I demanded UPS produce proof of signature, but UPS says only shipper can make a claim. So I tried to contact JM Bullion. But no one ever picks up the phone! Sent email. No reply. Several weeks ago, I decided that it was time to start investing in physical silver. Being a retired law enforcement officer of 21 year, I know how to do a good investigation. After a week, I had confirmed my original conclusion...that JMB seemed to be the best deal online. JMB came highly recommended from external sources and had a great reputation. I found their pricing to be "spot on" pun intended and they were the only one I could find that had free shipping on all orders. I think others had free shipping but you could tell they were making it up in their other pricing.

In my research on buying silver, I read in a few different places that 'online' you could expect to pay $2-3 over spot and in the local stores you can expect to pay $5-6 over. At JMB I haven't paid over $2 yet. I received my first order of silver bars Friday and I love them! Before I even received my first order, I placed a second order and tomorrow, I am placing my third order. I have a large amount of silver bars in mind (which I will keep to myself) and I love the fact that JMB allows small orders, which allows me to build up my silver bars over time.

One of the other places I called was charging $25 in shipping no matter the size of the order and they were charging $4.69 over spot as of Friday. I told the rep the the deal I was getting at JMB (without using the JMB name) and the rep got quiet for a few seconds and said, "yea, I would stay with them).

I don't understand some of the complaints that I have read here. There is just no pleasing some people. Who cares if the shipping took some time. (Mine was timely). You received your product and can now store it away. It's not like you were going to go do anything with it but store it so who cares if it was int he mail a bit longer than you'd a liked. And as far as wrong orders....things happen. As long as JMB rectifies the problem, then you should be happy.

I'm in sales and have a $32 million quota every year. I know about customer service and keeping customers happy. Things happen. Don't take it as a personal attack.

I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with JMB!

Excellent! Very satisfied!

A little better now

Since I left a terrible review and have now received my product I thought it only fair to update. I did receive my gold and silver today and it was what I ordered, are good genuine products, and was a good price.
My only complaints are their shipping time and how they show an order as shipped when in fact they have only printed a shipping slip. First order flawless

I ordered from I'm bullion after spending several days researching other sights. I have to say the first order cake through perfectly. In regard to this order, it was recieved at bethpage, ny on 2/25 and left on 2/26 nothing noted for the 27th but it was recieved once again in bethpage, ny on the 28th. it is now 3/5 and no one knows where it is.

The third order states that USPS recieved the information of the shipment on 3/2 but the package has yet to be picked up. it is now 3/5 and I'm stuck in the same limbo with this package.

While these issues may be the problem of the USPS, they seem to be numberous 66% of my orders botched and they continue t use USPS. Something that they do have control over is their website and their own company. Upon opening my account with JM Bullion I never recieved an email confirmation as they stated I would. I recieved no email conf. or tracking info from JM Bullion, for my orders, as they stated I would. While waiting for my first order I was locked out of my account and had to call customer service, the site said my password was no good. There was a PW reset button that was suposed to email me a password. I pressed it and never recieved a new PW or email, I did this twice. I got a new PW buy calling in on the phone. After waiting paitently for the order I mentioned on the top of this review, I clicked the customer suport button and sent of an email asking about my order. I never recieved a response from JM Bullion. I think their problems go beyond changing their shipping practices.

I've been following this site since before making my first purchase with JM Bullion; want to thank all of you for posting- opinions are valuable and are ultimately the reason I felt comfortable investing with JMB.
I am in no way affiliated with JMB.
My investments with JMB total over $40,000USD so far; and I'll certainly be utilizing them for more PM investing.
As a business owner myself for over 30 years, it is a bit painful to see the Internet often used as a 'whipping post' and/or for venting of frustrations- instead of pure objectivity. But we've all learned to read between the lines of emotionality, and find value.
IMHO, JMB is nowhere near deserving of an average rating of 2.9; I was compelled to give 5 stars in every category.
Why?
Because they have always delivered what they say- within the timeframe promised.
Yes. I waited longer for my orders placed during the change-over. But even with huge challenges- JMB has ALWAYS delivered within the parameters declared in the agreement I signed up with- and mostly, much sooner than I expected.
Fairness demands consideration of facts, too- not just opinion.
My objective here is to stick within the facts of the promise versus delivery, as stipulated up front. I believe we all must hold up to our end of the bargain- ESPECIALLY when challenges arise.
That is the essence of what I am saying about JM Bullion.
They actually deserve every star I gave- because JMB always delivered before they had to per our agreement.
Yes- again- I understand how people could get emotional due to the occasional mishap. As a human being, I feel for each of you. I've felt emotional, too. But I've found success with JMB is the predominant experience.
Read about other PM competitors on the web- they all get sub par ratings, because emotions often speak louder than objective sense.
JM Bullion is my favorite company to invest in PM with- even through the recent changes, which has severely dropped their ratings. It would be a shame for those of you seeking a solid company with great people on staff to be negatively influenced by non-objective ratings.
You can be confident in JM Bullion- now more than ever.
They have never let me down and deserve all of my 5 stars.

JM Bullion is still the best

Best deal around

How this site has such a low score is beyond me. I've never had a problem with anything, this shipment did take a bit longer then usually but nothing to freak out about ordered on 2/12/2014 received it on 2/28/2014 and already ordered another shipment on 2/26/2014 and look forward to getting it in a few weeks you want your silver today go pay a 20% premium plus 18% tax at a local dealer

I ordered Canadian silver maple leaf coins from JM Bullion On Wednesday February 19th. I paid using a credit card as the extra premium charged was still less than the cost of a bank wire. In addition, I like having the credit card company behind me if something goes wrong.The buying process was easy on their website, and I was able to track my order the entire way to my doorstep. The coins arrived on Monday afternoon, February 24th. The packaging was good and the coins were in perfect condition. I would buy from this dealer again as the price was great, the shipping was free, and the product arrived in only five days time.

Flawless

I ordered Canadian silver maple leaf coins from JM Bullion On Wednesday February 19th. I paid using a credit card as the extra premium charged was still less than the cost of a bank wire. In addition, I like having the credit card company behind me if something goes wrong.The buying process was easy on their website, and I was able to track my order the entire way to my doorstep. The coins arrived on Monday afternoon, February 24th. The packaging was good and the coins were in perfect condition. I would buy from this dealer again as the price was great, the shipping was free, and the product arrived in only five days time.

I have recently placed 3 orders from JM Bullion. January 22, 2014 Business check $19,914.00.(still not received, UPS says issued invalid tracking numbers). January 28, Credit Card $4,266.50 (delivered 02/04/2014). January 30, 2014 Check $8,350.00 (Delivered 02/26/2014). While I received the credit card purchase in a timely manner, The check order for $8,350 took almost a full month to receive while the check for almost $20,000 still is in limbo. ( both checks cleared my financial institutions more than 2 1/2 weeks ago) After contacting them several times for updates, I finally received emails from them with the same excuses seen on the other recent posts. While prices are fair I must say that customer service needs major improving. I understand it take hard work to run a business as I have been for 30+ years in the construction industry. It has been 36 days since my first order and still no items shipped from that order! I am very concerned about this and asked for a complete refund. (with no response). If they did not have the product to sell they should of never accepted my order.

Very Deeply Concerned!

1) charge at least something for delivery but make every package signed for via UPS.(regardless)
2)remain competitive but promise delivery x amount of days after money has cleared. Not some half a**ed update that product has shipped when in fact,USPS hasn't picked it up yet.
3)c.c approvals happen fast and cost the buyer a premium. So it should have preferential shipment.
4)indicate available or not for at least most popular items.

For all those who pay by check, look at it like this: It takes at least 3 days to get there and opened, another 2-3 to clear, and then your order becomes valid & don't forget the weekend so thats 7 days, 1 day to process. Really, your init 10 days before it could ship and thats if your VIP status:)

Overall, I will wait and see what happens with this company before placing more sizable orders. If J.M, like other companies guarantee shipment 3 days after monies clear,(with tracking #) they could have a better thing going but all that can't happen for free.

Excellent Resolution of Problem

I have made a few purchases with JM Bullion and have been completely satisfied. This last week I received a shipment that had an error and I tried the online, email and phone contacts without success. I found this review site to see if others were having similar problems and found that Robert from JM Bullion had included his direct contact email so I contacted him that way. He apologized and assured me he would correct the issue immediately - he actually contacted me within a half hour.
I am completely happy with their customer service and the shipping is free and the prices are fabulous so I'll wait if it takes a bit longer than others - I trust them to deliver.

I ordered $41K in gold and silver from JM Bullion during the multiple January/February winter storm shut-downs and their big expansion to a new distribution facility in NY. (That is what a lot of the other complaints about shipping time 'delays' on this site are due to, by the way). After ordering & sending a wire transfer, the online order status was immediately updated and helpful. I had to wait about 2 weeks for the delivery. Reading some of these reviews while waiting put me in a panic, but then upon further digging, I realized that 36 BBB (Better Business Bureau) complaints in 3 years was exceptional for a company with this many customers, and their resolution history and clean organized high-tech website (maybe the best of all online vendors, by the way) put me at ease. Sure enough, the shipment arrived well packed, discreet, and the product was absolutely Beautiful!

BOTTOM LINE: If you want to do a lot of nit-picking & hair splitting about shipping time and if you want your hand held by a room full of customer service reps talking you off the high-maintenance ledge - go somewhere else. BUT... if you want the ABSOLUTE BEST PRICES anywhere, extremely organized web-site, good online order status, and great product in a perfectly reasonable time frame, JM Bullion is a solid company, well run, and growing/expanding, and highly recommended. I personally run a manufacturing company and I understand expansion delays and growing pains. They have managed it all extremely well and still shipped product without missing a beat. I look forward to ordering from them again.
