It looks like the most recent review for Texas Precious Metals is 2018, and I wanted to provide some more recent feedback to those who are considering purchasing from them. Overall, they still provide 5-star service in 2021. I was nervous to make such a large purchase online, especially via wire transfer, but the TexMetals staff was available, helpful, and reassuring, telling me exactly what to expect from the process. Their professionalism gave me confidence, and the transaction went through very smoothly with email confirmations from them at every step. My order shipped with tracking two days after payment cleared and arrived the next day, very well packaged and in-full.

There is much to be said for a dealer who will only sell what they have in stock and will not take your money if they do not have your order in-hand. I am sure they lose some sales that way when they are out of stock, so I appreciate their commitment to customer service and timely delivery.

Always do your due diligence before purchasing precious metals online, since business conditions can change for any dealer. That said, I would and likely will purchase from Texas Precious Metals again.

When I called Texas Precious Metals I was transferred to a rep that asked me questions about my coins and gave me the price over the phone. The price was exactly what I researched they were going for on-line. They emailed me a UPS Shipping label so I could send the coins to them. I've never sold gold coins before and was hesitate to send the coins without any money because when you send something it is gone. But, the day they received them they emailed me and told me everything was great with the coins and they would deposit the money in my account the next day which they did. It was a great experience and this is a company you can trust when selling your gold.

I contacted this company by email asking to build a business one-to-one relationship with a real person who I could ask bullion purchasing advice. I sent this query to four companies. Only Steven from Texas Precious metals took the time to call me. I have since ordered three times from them and feel very confident doing so.

As a first-time buyer of precious metals, I studied the competitive market carefully online and via YouTube. I learned enough to go ahead with my first purchase. I was very pleased to receive my 2 gold eagles today! They arrived on the second business day after my funds were in TPM's hands.

Great first experience. Ordered online. Received e-mail confirmation & address to send personal check. Got e-mail confirmation of receipt of payment a couple of days later. Within three days my stuff arrived. Only complaint might be how hard it was to open the shipping package, but at least I was sure no one had messed with it in route (LOL)! I'd recommend these folks to anyone!

Sustained superior performance - sounds a bit cheesy, but I have been buying from Texas Precious Metals for about 5 years now. When I go web surfing for prices, theirs is always the lowest. Customer service is first class. I placed my last order on Sunday evening, went to the bank Monday for the wire and had my order in hand on Thursday. All gold coins in individual hard shell containers, roll of silver in a nice plastic coin tube... and still the lowest prices. I can't recommend TPM highly enough.

First time buyer. Everything was explained and TPM representatives were very helpful. Don't waste your time with other companies. Had my shipment in 3 days! First class company.

Made a phone call to TPM and spoke to an honest, straight up gal No wait time. No sales pitch, no fluff, just hands down great customer service.
Placed an order for 6 gold coins and 4 different types of silver coins in various quantities. They placed a 5% hold on my card, I sent them a check in the mail. Three days later they send me an email stating they received my check and will ship out. Two days after that.... UPS shows up with a heavy box. I open the box and it's exactly what I ordered in A+ condition wrapped and shipped well. No bad experience anywhere with TPM. Why can't other companies be like this? I will order from them again in few weeks. Hands down one of the best out there.... You won't be disappointed!

Very easy to order from their website. Sent them a check which they received in 3 days, 2 days later items were sent, 1 day later received what I ordered. Very well packed and box gave no indication they were a metals dealer. So far they are they are the best dealer that I have ordered from.

Only small negative is there limited selection on country/type of coins.

I placed my order to 100 silver Eagle coins on April 20, 2015 and mailed my personal check on that date. The coins arrived at my home on April 28, 2015. The coins were nicely packaged and look beautiful. I am very pleased by the fine service provided by Texas Precious Metals. I will buy from them again.

Ever step of the way, from ordering on line to pick up at my designated location was without flaw. I made a previous purchase from another company and can say it did not go nearly as well. My next order will be with TPM.

I ordered right before Christmas because the price was right and the check was in the mail the very next day. They sent me an email as soon as the received the check to let me know they would ship my silver right after New Years. They explained they did not want the silver sitting in a warehouse. I received a second email stating my order had shipped and I received my silver the very next day. Very pleased at this point and time.
