Review Detail
Monex probably scam artists
Firstly - Pilot Trust is FAKE review site - disregard anything there
Read below for my experience:
Ordered $9000 in silver bars - Monex sent to wrong address - zip code only - sent back to Monex 3 days later for “failure to deliver” - I only found this out several weeks later however.
When I did not receive silver shipment contacted Monex who said they had no idea what happened. Because Monex does not ship directly from their corporate headquarters in CA but from their “warehouses” I had no record of origination address, origination sender or the address silver was sent. Registered mail is purposely opaque - part of its security - so I had nothing but a tracking number and USPS could only tell me silver was successfully received as addressed!! Yes - sent to APMEX - another precious metals dealer who promptly sent it back to Monex when they realized was not their order!! Only threat of federal investigation after I reported this to the Post Office’s Inspector General’s office before Monex seemed to “find” the returned silver bars.
Scam? I seem to think so - manager David Gala tried hard to get me to drop my complaint with PO IG office. With non-sensual reasoning too. Seemed like a shyster. Be very wary of Monex - you might get scammed.
BTW - got my silver bars - safely in bank safety deposit
