Monex probably scam artists Reviewed by Greg | 5 years ago

Firstly - Pilot Trust is FAKE review site - disregard anything there Read below for my experience: Ordered $9000 in silver bars - Monex sent to wrong address - zip code only - sent back to Monex 3 days later for “failure to deliver” - I only found this out several weeks later however. When I did not receive silver shipment contacted Monex who said they had no idea what happened. Because Monex does not ship directly from their corporate headquarters in CA but from their “warehouses” I had no record of origination address, origination sender or the address silver was sent. Registered mail is purposely opaque - part of its security - so I had nothing but a tracking number and USPS could only tell me silver was successfully received as addressed!! Yes - sent to APMEX - another precious metals dealer who promptly sent it back to Monex when they realized was not their order!! Only threat of federal investigation after I reported this to the Post Office’s Inspector General’s office before Monex seemed to “find” the returned silver bars. Scam? I seem to think so - manager David Gala tried hard to get me to drop my complaint with PO IG office. With non-sensual reasoning too. Seemed like a shyster. Be very wary of Monex - you might get scammed. BTW - got my silver bars - safely in bank safety deposit

You will be persuaded to do financing with them. Do not fall into this trap. The shipping and handling costs change from day to day, depends on who you talk to and when you make the phone call.

Monex will NOT buy back from you Reviewed by Tony W | 11 years ago

When my mother died a few years ago, she had several hundred Monex one ounce silver rounds. I called Monex, and they absolutely refused to buy them back. I had her original sales invoices and so on. I wasn't looking for a refund of the original price from way back when she purchased the silver, just the market price at the time I called. They would not even make an offer! When I asked "What am I supposed to do with these Monex coins?" the CSR actually told me to sell them on eBay!

Monex = Lying Thieves Reviewed by Dan | 11 years ago

The whole basis of this company is to scam every person they come into contact with. They scammed me out of 190k in 2008 and I became homeless as a result. I could write a 5 page story about it but Ill just say these are trained con-artists, they played every trick in the book and wiped me out. I have spent 2 years fighting them in court and lost because the judges are jews just like Monex. I have never heard of anyone who has had a positive outcome with the Atlas Account, only devastating losses. Michael Carabini the companies president is a ruthless sociopath and belongs in jail right next to Kenneth Leigh and Bernie Maddoff. DO NOT SEND THIS COMPANY MONEY FOR ANY REASON!!!!!

First time ASE Purchase Reviewed by Aaron | 12 years ago

Account Rep. took plenty of time to speak with me 2-3 times on the front end of the transaction. He then walked me through the process and followed up when the metals were shipped...really couldn't have asked for them to do anything more. It did take about 2 weeks to receive the metal (from the time the check was sent via fedex); however, I understand their was considerable purchasing at the beginning of the year.

This was my first precious metal purchase. I can now say that I'm pleased with Monex. The broker spent plenty of time answering my questions and talked me through the process of starting my portfolio of "heavy metals". My transaction was painless, sort of, and the shiny stuff started arriving just as he said it would. I am looking at making another purchase soon and I will probably use Monex.
