This company is a complete joke. After tying up 3,500$ of my money for 4 months they somehow managed to ship my product on the LATEST day they could without me being entitled to a full refund. The original shipping window was less than 2 months. Avoid this company. I ordered a similar product from APMEX and received it in less that a week.

Same experience. Check cleared late Dec'12. First shipment Window closed recently. New, a month further out. Hope they don't go Chapter 11. The standard practice is to use free money for 4 months. Customer service is Non-existent. Story heard RE the delay seemed practiced a lot and was polished. Wish had seen these reviews before. Future is what I control, not the past. Was told my product has been purchased and in the W'house and trying to get the product out ASAP. Save yourself the headaches and buy elsewhere. Next fear, no shipment after the next window and will have to dance around for a few months to get the refund. Will write to BBB.

STAY AWAY FROM NWT MINT
My check cleared on November 5 2012, I mad a huge purchase and still have not got it. All I've got was bunch of excuses and bogus promises that package will be shipped.
The COMPANY USES PEOPLES MONEY, and may ship order on the last date possible which is 4 month after check is cleared, or if they don't have it in stock you will have to fight for refund and when you got the refund back you basically loaned a lot of money with NO INTEREST.

Total Scam!
I order 100 ounces of silver from NWT Mint back in November and am still waiting to receive my order.
In the mean time I found Provident Metals who are cheaper and much faster. I have ordered 2 monster boxes and 2 separate junk silver order from Provident and received them all the while still waiting for my NWT Mint order.
I was new to bullion investing and should have read these reviews first. NW Mint's scam is to use your money as long as possible before shipping the product. The kicker is they are certainly not cheaper prices either.

I ordered 3 times. Horrible service! 3-4 months to get my order! Said I could cancel my last order if not shipped by Jan. 7. Received no e-mail showing shipment. Shipping bill was dated Jan. 7, but postmark was Jan. 9. They refused to negotiate, could not explain what happened. Please don't give these people your business! There's something not right about this place! Please buy somewhere else & save your self a lot of problems! Horrible customer service, phone lines are full or they are @ lunch. very bad experience / a poor quality silver bar with drilled holes in it
My experience with northwest mint territorial started when i bought from them a 100 ounce JOHNSON MATTHEY silver bar . i received an old bar that had drilled holes in it and since then i have been trying to send it back or replace or even sell it back to them ,but they are refusing to listen or help solve the problem and they are refusing to buy their product back . STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY , you will be throwing your money away and dealing with a very bad company that will not stand behind its products and will not help you out with any problem . i have submitted a complaint with the better business bureau and my next step is the FBI if the bar turns out to be not pure silver as it should be

i ordered 20 oz. of gold on 8/2012 - but if i had cash i could of took delivery that day. i was told delivery would take 8-10 weeks- i waited 12 weeks including the 2 weeks for my check to clear and then i received a e-mail stating that it would be an additional 30 days for delivery. i was told that i would get market value at any time but for a full refund (what i paid) i would have to wait the full 30 days-if golds' down you are stuck- if golds up you can sell anytime. i waited a total of 4 months and no gold-it seems to me that this company does not know the business and is using peoples money-i just wanted the gold but i do not trust this company to wait any longer.i will never deal with this company again and i should of known that something was wrong by their poor reviews but i purchased from them about 6 years ago with no problem? this dealer is currently (2012) rated poor by me.i think the saying fits-fool me once shame on you -fool me twice shame me.

Only buy if you have months to wait
I purchased 2 100oz silver bars online for a great price as they have the best prices I could find and free shipping. I was given a shipping date and greatly anticipated receiving my silver. Much to my disappointment the shipping date came and went I was notified of the delay via email. Once the second shipping date came and went I decided to sell back before prices dropped and they had the discretion to send me a check instead of the silver. They did promptly send me a check for the silver I never received and I made a healther profit so only unhappy that after 3months I did not receive any precious metals.

Got what I paid for.
I use the internet ordering portal. I've had good service from them, and have made seven or eight orders over the last few years. Last time, I ordered some gold, and it was delayed. I waited about three weeks after the delay email, then called, and had to leave a message. A rep called me the next morning to advise when my product would likely ship. She was courtious. If you realize that these smaller operations don't have tons and tons on hand, you'll be fine.

We placed two orders in early June and it's now mid-Sept. No shipment. We keep getting 30 day delays because of their order volume, down equipment, and and and. The latest is yet another 30 delay. We asked to consolidate the orders - well, another 30 day shipment delay. Of course they needed a cashier's check or cleared check before they would even place the order (cash in their hand.) Then the 90+ day clock starts. Of course, if you call to complain about the HUGE delay, they offer your money back through the sale of your order. Moral of the story: someone mentions NWT Mint => RUN! You may or may not see your money or investment again.

Please, Please, Please people NEVER, Never purchase from these people. They'll hold your money, you wait and wait. 8-10 weeks ballooned into 4 months. But if you have to then only buy thru there on-line store and you'll get your product in 10-14 days.

I will never again purchase from this site. They hold your money, wait until the last minute to ship the product ostensibly because they are overwhelmed with orders, but if you want to pay extra, you can get the same product off their website and have it shipped in a two days. After placing my order in March, I got the dreaded delay notice on my order, since I live close to Auburn, WA, I decided to venture up there. I visited their brink and mortar store and they had exactly what I had ordered in stock for sale over the counter at less than I paid! I asked if I could have my order credited to an over the counter order and was told no. So, finally after a 14 week wait, I received my order. Never again, I will use Gainsville coins from here on out.

I ordered on April 16th expected delivery 9-13 July. Called today and they said my order would be delayed. I will be leaving the country in 3 weeks and want to take my silver with me. I planned this out more than 3 months ago since the projected wait time was 8-10 weeks it shouldn't have been a problem. The lady told me that it would probably be 2-3 weeks late, I suspect it will be much longer. Of course they want me to sell it back for $5 an ounce less. I agree with those below, there is no reason to have to wait this long. I have since found a guy locally that works out of his house and can get me anything I want, cheaper than NWTM, and it takes him no longer than a week. How is it possible that the largest silver mint can't fulfill an order in 3 months? Something else is definitely going on. They are floating their business with our money.

anxious buyer
On 04/30/12 I ordered silver coins & bullions. I was told delivery would take 8 to 10 weeks (which I agreed to). At the 10 week mark, I received an e mail informing me that delivery will probably take another 30 days. I see no reason it should take more than 10 weeks to fulfill my order. What is their problem? Good all around
It really isn't that hard. If you want your silver fast - don't buy from nwt mint. However, they make it clear in the beginning that it could be slow delivery. They also allow you to cancel your order and get fair market value in case it goes up while you are waiting for it. That makes for a really easy transaction. I have always got what I ordered, and I had to cancel 1 order but they paid fair market value so no loss to me. I have had good experiences.

I've placed a dozen gold orders with these people. Delivery is always late, often months late. I suspect when bullion prices go down they delay delivery, waiting for the customer to get frustrated and cancel. Then they refund the lower bullion price, making a profit by failing to perform. I've waited 117 days for my latest order and demanded the refund they say I'm entitled to. I'm out $51,000 and still waiting.

I explained this to the guy on the phone and NWTM will hold my Silver for me free of charge while deployed and have it shipped me immediately upon return. I believe that kind of customer service is incredible.

This is a review on NWTM and the comments made by nobodyatall on Jan.29,2011 concerning NWTM and our business Stagg's Inc. Stagg's Inc. customers are never told where their product is coming from so nobodyatall's comment linking their order to NWTM has no merit or validity. What does have validity is the order was completed a week late with delivery from Stagg's Inc. though product was delivered at four different times during the month to try and make this order work for this customer. Customers who are not comfortable if an order is not exactly on time would be wise to NOT purchase precious metals unless they buy 'live product' placed right in front of them. In early 2008 it was not uncommon for silver orders with all companies taking upwards to 2-3 months for delivery. With regards to Northwest Territorial Mint I find them to be an excellent company overall but it would be nice if they were located in our state captial Olympia, WA and not quite so competively close.
I called them because they were listed on the US Mint's list of dealers and they are near where my sister lives. They would not proceed until they were sure I understood the terms and the transaction. Their package was well packaged, and I was able to track it on its way.

I can only write that I have always been treated well. There has been one delay in
getting the order to me, but it was not too long considering the volume of orders they must be receiving now. I would give them an A- grade and would use them again.

Stay away! They are all smiles when selling to you, but when it comes to buying it back all the customer service goes out the window. I was treated with absolute contempt when attempting to sell their own silver back to them.

I do NOT trust these guys one single bit. I bought 919 silver rounds from Northwest T.Mint through a coin dealer in Kent Wa. I really trust the dealer. Staggs coins are THE MOST HONEST PEOPLE on this planet. Staggs was told no more than than 3 wks. wait for delivery. Guess again. Now I.m told 4 wks. I'm sure this parade will go on and on as I.ve heard from others. All bull. MY wife & I counted on this delivery date for our bussiness. We lost several contracts because of the B.S. Needless to say I'm very angry and plan to take other steps now that we have these losses. Out of five stars I'd give them a fraction of one. Stay AWAY folks!!
