Bought a "deal" that you had to put in the cart to see that actual discount. Tried to do a wire transfer to pay for it. My bank wouldn't send the money to them due to "customer compaints". They were closed so I sent a email to cancel. Of course they sent a email back that went to spam that said all cancellations would need to be called in. Didn't see it for a few days. Called them right away after finding this as I was cleaning out my emails. Tried to explain why the cancellation was not my fault but the banks. But, that was not good enough, they sent a cancellation notice, re ieved it with less then 2 days to pay it or it will be sent to collections. With unwarranted "market losses" there was no losses silver actually went up. So that was a straight up lie and they knew it. I was charged almost $500 to cancel a order they never lifted a finger to fill, even got off there butt to do anything for. This is preditory, and they just bought a life long enemy. Not a smart buisness practice if you ask me. You don't monetize people mistakes. With that, and all the other complaints this company has, from sending fake silver, to ripping people off with wrong product and the like. Stay far from this buisness.

If you are ordering "1 oz Silver Rounds (New) - Design Our Choice" do not expect to get the designs shown on the picture and IRA approved coin. They will send you 1 oz SD Bullion Silver Freedom Rounds - their own coin, which according to their website is NOT IRA approved. Called on first order to change payment method. Was treated so poorly it was shocking.
I will be paying a several hundred dollar cancellation fee for my very first order (that will never happen),
better I get burned for hundreds rather than an order that was for thousands. The lack of personality and lack of customer service was shocking.
So rude it just felt like scam and high pressure, extremely. And that is the Red Flag.

Horrible customer service/will take your money
DO NOT ORDER YOUR PRECIOUS METALS FROM THIS COMPANY!! I ordered 2 silver eagles a few months back and they informed me they would not be delivered until a month and a half later. Fast forward to when they were supposed to arrival and I never received them. I called and asked what happened and they told me there was nothing they could do because I had 3 days to report a lost package. 3 days, seriously? My order was estimated to be delivered a month and a half later with no exact date, but I only have a few days to report it if I never received it?!? My family and I have ordered from this company for a few years now, but we will no longer do business with a company that does not care about their customers. They will take your money and run, then blame it on their terms and conditions.

I purchased from them because they were the cheapest online dealer at this time (could have drive a little longer and buy the same thing w/o the hassle).

I told her I would like to speak w/ a manager and she said not available but can leave a message. I did that.
Manager called back and said exactly the same thing. They cannot send the package anywhere else but the billing address. What a crock of bull is that? You can either receive it at your billing address or I can take 5% and cancel your order." SD Bullion makes good on "lost" shipment

This is my first order with SD Bullion. I placed my substantial order (20 1oz Gold Eagles) on 2/16/2021 and paid them via wire on 2/18/2021. I received a tracking number from Fedex on 2/25/2021 for delivery by 3/2/2021. The order never arrived...I notified them on 3/2 and again on 3/4...They told me of "weather delays" but by 3/10 I questioned whether it even shipped...being a new customer of SDB, I did not have any history with them. I was suspect as I have experience buying metal from other suppliers without incident. On 3/12/2021 SD Bullion told me to fill out a "Statement of Loss" claim form with them that they need to explore the claim with Fedex and their insurance company and per their email..... "Please allow 7-10 business days for our team to coordinate with the carrier and allow their internal processes to begin. Attached you will find a Statement of Loss Form".....On 3/18/2021 I was asked to submit a "notarized" "Statement of Loss Affidavit": I had to go to my local notary!!!. I am not sure what lead to the loss of my shipment and what responsibility SDB bears if any. I feel better about this company now that I have received delivery but I do not appreciate going thru this experience. I received my order this morning(3/24/2021) via Fedex 2nd day air. It was packaged well but over 3 weeks later than expected. Customer Service was helpful in submitting claim for lost shipment and they did follow up with me to ensure delivery. I will consider buying from them again despite this "rocky" first order.

Made approximately $4k order from SD Bullion on 1/8/21. Arrived 1/20. Volumes are high but seemed a bit slower than what I expected so only knocked off one star because every time I called, SD was excellent in customer service.

What an aggravating business
What an aggravating business to deal with. I work at home every other week. Since it takes 2-3 weeks for an order to be delivered, I never know if I'm going to be at work or home. This week I was at work when a delivery was attempted. I called and emailed SD in an attempt to get them to help me change the delivery location or have FedEx hold the package at their hub. SD was completely inflexible about a delivery location change. Finally after 3 days wasting FedEx's gas and time I was able to pick the package up at their hub before it was shipped back to SD. Thanks for nothing SD. Plenty of other precious metals sellers out there.

Over a Month and not even processed, inventory glitch
Ive bought from multiple dealers, and I made the mistake of trying out SD bullion. I liked the price and wanted to check them out. Learn from my experience: My first order of several thousand dollars was processed fine in feb and recieved in about the same matter as any dealer i bought from. Awesome, place another several thousand dollar (couple of gold and silver coins) order on march 2nd. Shows waiting payment, 3 days pass and goes to payment recieved. I give some time, knowing the markets demand is starting to go up. Then i contact them, sd says high demand wait another 5 to 10days. I give 2 weeks, send another email. Dont hear back for 2 days, send a irritating email letting them im disappointed. One of the items was going to be a gift (not anymore). They respond, saying they had a inventory glitch with my order, they are waiting on a piece of silver before they can send it. Wow SD, when you found that out why didn't you update/contact your customer. Why did i have to complain to find out? Slow and lack of communication is issue. They did say they would substitute it, which i told them yes. That was several days ago, and the order still has not been processed or shipped. Ive put in 3 other orders and recieved them already from my different online dealer, SD bullion hasnt even processed or shipped it yet, over a month. Disappoint in SD bullion. Buy from other dealers that you can trust. Mine is now gone in this dealer. Price doesn't matter if you never receive the product. Im still waiting. Only thing left for me to do: starting to file complaints and possibly legal action if product isnt shipped. Wasting my time. They lost a customer with me that spent thousands of dollars with them, how would they treat other buyers? Im sure they will reply that they have a high volume of customers, but my order was placed over a month ago, weeks before their email about 5 to 10 day wait time which as passed too.
Also they have manipulated reviews: i cant even leave a review with there third party review company shopper approved unless you click on a link in email saying you received product. I haven't so i will not click on it. They dont show the bad reviews from that site. Only list the good. This fools the consumer thinking it is a better company than it is. Buyer beware!

So this site presented it self as very good option at first, I bought my first option and it went smooth, i paid by card because its cheaper than bank wire in my case, on the second order i also paid by card, and after they withdrew the money from my account they sent an email that it didn't go throw for verification reasons and i need to submit an alternate email and phone number and an ID!!!, I am not gonna submit an ID to any website that I am buying stuff from, so they just canceled the order without even telling me and i had to call to know what happened, and the guy who was talking to me didn't even have good answers or he knew what is happening with the order,all and all just a bad experience for some silver, so a good advise just go to your local coin shop you will get almost same prices and you will get you metals at the spot.

100 ounce JM bar...
I purchased a JM 100 ounce silver bar and had to return it given the amount of damage (major dents on the corners, etc.) and received a store credit. I used the store credit to purchase another item on 12/7/18 (it's been 10 days since then). I've called them three times and I'm told the item will ship that day (of course it does not). I would recommend trying another dealer. Wish me luck in getting a product that is hopefully not damaged.

Lowest Prices I could find Online
I've been buying gold, silver and platinum since 2009. I've purchased from all kinds of dealers from online as well as offline. In 2015, I found SD Bullion and have been ordering from them ever since. The reason is quite simple, I'm a bullion buyer so I don't care to much about the collectible side of things or the design on the coin, etc. (although I did buy their Tree of Life coin when it launched at 99¢ over spot because it was a cool design and a $1.29 cheaper than their Silver Eagle at the time). And if you're just concerned about the metal content, like me, then it didn't make any sense to pay more for the exact same thing. A silver eagle is a silver eagle. A silver bar is a silver bar; so why not go with the lowest price option? At least that's my philosophy. I usually make small purchases weekly and I've always received what I've ordered from them.

Bad Customer Service - I don't recommend you do business with them.
I ordered product Nov 30, paid for it with wire transfer, and finally received it Dec 28. On Dec.1, I emailed the website I accessed to do the purchase to ask where to send the money and received an answer that said he new the owner and forwarded it to SDBullion. I repeatedly used the contact forms on both websites to say I had not received an email confirmation of the sale and did not know where to send the check (I was going to pay by check, but later changed to wire transfer to speed things up.) On Dec 14 was my first contact from SDBullion after the order. They finally contacted me by phone and we figured out my email address was not working for them. I went to my bank to wire transfer the money on Dec 15. Every day after that I was waiting at home to sign the delivery form. On Dec 20. they gave me a tracking number that turned out to be wrong. On Dec 23. I got a second number that was supposedly attempted delivery that was refused. I had their phone number by then and called on Dec 23. They said they still had my package in their office and would send it. I got a third tracking number on Dec 25 to be delivered on the 26th. Then I was told it was not coming. Then I got a fourth number and it was finally delivered on Dec 28th. Totally ruined my Christmas holiday sitting at home frustrated, waiting for the delivery wondering if order was actually coming.
