I have been a customer since 2014. No more. Their service is terrible. Will never use them again.

Item paid for at least 6 weeks back. they said shipped last week. it is nowhere around. Customer service yet to respond. Their prices are not the best.

This is probably the worst bullion and coin company I have ever dealt with. They overgrade their items and maximize the price. Their customer service seems to find any way they can to blame you for the problem. I ordered a coin from them and had it cleaned, conserved, and slabbed. It came back as the lowest grade possible for the group and even though it was a $5 Indian Head gold coin NGC graded the color as brown. The kiss of death for a gold coin. NEVER buy a coin from them that is not graded by NGC or NCGS. They will take advantage of you. I would suggest you stick with a more reputable company like APMEX or J M Bullion for your online purchases. An ungraded coin from this company may just disappoint you. I would say stay away.

One of the worst experience buying from provident metals. Their processing and shipping to terribly slow. I never received the item. Stay away from them

I have ordered 20 walking liberties and aztec coin at 11/22. They received the check at 11/25. My payment is still in hold. I called costumer service friday to ask when I was going to get my order. She said " You would get it monday " and today is tuesday They didn't even shipped yet. They are full of scam. Don't shop from provident metal, They are scammer!!!

Paid by e-check 11/23 . Still hasn't shipped. Meanwhile placed an order at another dealer by e-check 11/26 and already received that order.. all after holding periods. Thought I would try them after nearly 2 years and sure regret that decision.

My wife and I have made several purchases with Provident and have been pleased overall. Because of the live pricing, a knowledgeable investor can save a small bit of money. We typically pay by chexk, so the shipping process can be a bit long. We have always received our metals and they have always looked great. The only issue that either of us has ever had was when we purchased several coins that soon ran out of stock in the same order as others that remained in stock. After two weeks, I called to inquire about the status of our order and was told that the entire package had been held until the out of stock coins were back in stock. When I asked the woman what my choices were, she offered to send the in stock items separately. We received the items quickly after that and our experience was relatively positive. A bit more communication would have been nice, but the issue was resolved. Provident is our go to precious metals dealer.

I have bought quite a few orders from Provident Metals lately a more or less good not great since I have had some issues with them. Please read the following: I ordered over 45 days ago about $800.00 in Brittanias Silver Coins on special. They shipped and order was received at Coppell USPS Facility allegedly, and 35 days later the order is "nowhere" to be found. I had to wait for 30 days for an internal investigation and no results, so they give me the options to either resend the order or a refund. I write a letter to them indicating I wanted a Resend of the order. Melissa Grubb, all along has been less than providing Excellent Customer Service indicates that they were out of stock. I go into their Web Site and Surprise Surprise they have the Brittanias Random Years available for sale, but now at over $18. I bought them at $16+/-.. I informed her that they were available and now the story changes and she indicates that usually they just send out a refund. Of course, they would lose $2 approximately per coin. They didn't offer to replace with a similar coin like a Silver Eagle, Maple Leaf, they just wanted to get rid of me and pocket $2 per coin. Her answer, we already shipped the refund, I wish they were that responsive when it's the customer with a problem. They solve their problems very expediently but the customers......NOT SO MUCH!! This is the 3rd issue I have had with them and will stay away from this company, too many reputable companies out there to deal with a company that won't step up to the plate and take responsibility....You are out!!!! I suggest anyone that has had problems with this company to start complaints at the BBB and State Attorney Office. BEWARE

Have dealt with Provident on several occasions both buying and selling over a number of years. No problems, good service and prompt payments on my sells. Have also dealt with Apmex. Provident on occasion has much better prices. Have high confidence with Provident Metals, even for large purchases and sells. GLTA.
