By far the BEST bullion dealer on the web. I have placed multiple orders with gainesville coins since 2007 and they always exceed my expectations. I usually choose UPS for all my shipments but I thought I would give USPS a try this time around. Unfortunately I have a postman who doesnt seem to care about his job because when I got home my package was simply sitting outside my front door. I immediately called gainesville and expressed my concerns with them. They explained to me that the package was send signature required and that the post office should not have left my package without a signature. I told them I would not be using usps in the future. The customer service rep at gainesville was very helpful and they contacted my local post office for me. Later that afternoon I received a call from my post office apologizing about the mistake! This is what separates gainesville coins from everyone else. Cant say enough great things!

I have purchased upwards of $90,000 worth of precious metals from this dealer when they failed to give me the correct wiring information in order to PAY them for my most current order. Having just contacted them on the phone, I wired the money to their old account and it, of course, failed. Mind you, these people do not take personal or cashier checks and they charge a draconian amount if it's put on your credit card. I am already out $40 worth of fees due to their negligence and they still won't make this right. Additionally, they place 5% of the transaction on your credit card until they receive payment which means I have to contest that charge on my statement because this business is not getting one dime more from me. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Geez. They told me that they had to "verify with their IT department" as to whether or not the automated email giving the instructions failed. Their response was sending the email out to me HOURS after I placed the order and attempted to wire the money. BOTTOM LINE: There are plenty of other bullion dealers out there that are willing to do the right thing by their clientele. Unfortunately, Gainesville Coins is definitely not one of them.

Have used several times over last 5+ years. - Excellent staff. - Many times lowest price. - Good inventory/delivery. Not 1 problem. Surprised by some of the real negative experiences listed. Hard to imagine actually. Oh well. *Get on email list, many good deals sent out, "Daily Deals" (listed on website also).

Over a five or six year period I have placed several orders with Gainesville Coins. They have always acted professionally, shipped my order promptly, and I received what I ordered in good condition. have paid both by credit card and bank draft and all went well. I have nothing to complain about; in fact I would highly recommend them.

February, 2014 I purchased two Freedom Girl silver bullet silver shield 1 oz and one 1982 Proof Gold British 1/2 Sovereign. I am very pleased with this purchase. It arrived in a discrete box from an auto parts company. It was taped all the way around to insure that it was not opened in the mail. I received it before the due date. I am about to purchase 20 silver dollars from this reputable company.

I just completed a transaction with Gainesville Coins and was very satisfied. I purchased two 10oz silver bars and a half oz proof gold round. I was told there was going to be a week wait until they were shipped, but I received them five days later. The items were all in perfect condition. I did get a confirmation email and tracking information by email. I could tell the order-person on the phone was not anything close to a coin expert, but she did accurately detail my order. I did not see these reviews prior to purchase but was surprised to see so many displeased customers. I probably would not have purchased if I did read them. I cannot deny those respondents experiences, or conclude there is possible hyperbole being touted. I can only say that my one & only experience was very good. I would note that the pics on the site are stock photos (as they say), so I would be more concerned as far as purchasing collector type coins as opposed to Bullion. I expect that most people with bad experiences tend to make reviews; but a company should be judged by how they deal with problem orders. Hopefully they will keep up the example they showed with me.

This is definitely the worst experience I've ever had ordering online. I called about 2hrs. after placing my order online because I kept reading the reviews and discovered one that mentioned a COUNTERFIT coin. I didn't bother reading all or even how it was rectified or even if it was. I don't want to have to worry about that and couldn't imagine losing $1200 or more. So I called and tried to cancel the order. Spoke with someone and they said they couldn't since the order would have already been processed and product readying for packaging. I sent an email after that and only received NASTY, THREATENING emails, telling me how much they could sue in court if I didn't sent the money order by a certain date. It only got more NASTY over the next couple of days. I ended up sending them nearly $800 to get out of this NIGHTMARE! These boys are so very bad that when I got the notification they received the money, they sent me information on how to order again...after telling me I couldn't ever order from them again! Terrible amateurs and it's no wonder one of them went bankrupt in the past. Probably will go bankrupt again if they keep up this VERRY VERRY NASTY, TERRIBLE behavior.

I bought before I ever reviewed (not wise) but I am quite pleased. Actually I'd been a member for a number of years before I ever really became interested enough to begin purchasing.

FINALLY I found a dealer I can trust. I got into the silver market earlier in the year and made my first few purchases from 3 different companies. The metals company in Texas was by far the worst. I stumbled upon Gainesville Coins when I saw a youtube video of theirs. Because I had been so disappointed with my purchases from the other companies I only placed a small order with Gainesville to test the waters. Well i can honestly say i have never been happier. My order arrived really fast, the packaging was secure and discreet and they have the best prices! These guys have gained a new customer for life
