JM Bullion

Ordered 25 days ago with a check, they held it 2 weeks and then shipped. But it never arrived. UPS claimed it's delivered. But It's not. It's signature required. I demanded UPS produce proof of signature, but UPS says only shipper can make a claim. So I tried to contact JM Bullion. But no one ever picks up the phone! Sent email. No reply. I'm out of $2419 now and several weeks of waiting and anticipation time. I'm trying to get my money back. I'm going after them. What a disastrous experience! Beware!!

Several weeks ago, I decided that it was time to start investing in physical silver. Being a retired law enforcement officer of 21 year, I know how to do a good investigation. After a week, I had confirmed my original conclusion...that JMB seemed to be the best deal online. JMB came highly recommended from external sources and had a great reputation. I found their pricing to be "spot on" pun intended and they were the only one I could find that had free shipping on all orders. I think others had free shipping but you could tell they were making it up in their other pricing. In my research on buying silver, I read in a few different places that 'online' you could expect to pay $2-3 over spot and in the local stores you can expect to pay $5-6 over. At JMB I haven't paid over $2 yet. I received my first order of silver bars Friday and I love them! Before I even received my first order, I placed a second order and tomorrow, I am placing my third order. I have a large amount of silver bars in mind (which I will keep to myself) and I love the fact that JMB allows small orders, which allows me to build up my silver bars over time. One of the other places I called was charging $25 in shipping no matter the size of the order and they were charging $4.69 over spot as of Friday. I told the rep the the deal I was getting at JMB (without using the JMB name) and the rep got quiet for a few seconds and said, "yea, I would stay with them). I don't understand some of the complaints that I have read here. There is just no pleasing some people. Who cares if the shipping took some time. (Mine was timely). You received your product and can now store it away. It's not like you were going to go do anything with it but store it so who cares if it was int he mail a bit longer than you'd a liked. And as far as wrong orders....things happen. As long as JMB rectifies the problem, then you should be happy. I'm in sales and have a $32 million quota every year. I know about customer service and keeping customers happy. Things happen. Don't take it as a personal attack. I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with JMB!

I have placed 4 small to medium sized silver orders with JM, and I have not been disappointed at all. I pay by personal check, so I expect longer shipping wait times for the check to clear. Although I can not dispute any other ratings given the company, good or bad, I have never had a problem with ordering, communication, or delivery of the PMs I ordered. Paying by check, I have received all shipments between 2 weeks and 3 weeks of ordering...not bad when considering "free shipping", low prices, and quality product. As a note: I also use 2 other PM sites for orders, and experience the same wait times, but JM has the best prices overall, so they are well worth the wait. I hope the good service continues in the future.

I had placed an order with JM Bullion back before Christmas and did not have a good experience. I decided I would give them another try and I am glad I did. I placed my order using my credit card; my order was processed immediately and my status was updated the next day. Shipping took place 2 days later. The order arrived on time, packed professionally, containing exactly what I had ordered. From order to delivery was less than 7 days. GREAT! II will definitely order from JM Bullion again

JM Bullion delivered my order exactly as promised, within the time frame promised. The process was very business-like and professional with no surprises, either positive or negative.

I placed an initial order for a 1 ounce American eagle gold coin. I checked the status and JMBullion had cancelled my order without notifying me via phone or email. I sent a response to get an answer as to why my order was cancelled and they responded that there is a high risk of fraud in my area but they would process my order if I paid with bank wire or paper Check. (I paid with my AMEX card). I live in Hancock Park which is one of the most desirable and safe neighborhoods in Los Angeles so I don't believe their ridiculous story. I have been using USMint.gov and decided to try JMBullion because they had lower prices but like they always say, you get what you pay for. I will never ever use JMBullion again and I would not refer anyone. Absolute terrible customer service! They should try picking up a phone once in awhile before they cancel someone's new order

Since I left a terrible review and have now received my product I thought it only fair to update. I did receive my gold and silver today and it was what I ordered, are good genuine products, and was a good price. My only complaints are their shipping time and how they show an order as shipped when in fact they have only printed a shipping slip. My bank charged me $18 to wire money to them and that order took over a week longer than an order placed with a credit card the same night. I would not ever wire money to them again, I might consider a credit card order and just plan on 2 weeks before I even got worried. If they get their shipping issues fixed so orders ship right away, this would be an awesome company.

I have researched and made purchases with many sites on the internet, JM Bullion is by far the best! The prices are fantastic, they don't hit your card while your check is clearing, and shipping is free. The discount for a paper check is well worth the wait in shipping. If someone absolutely needs their purchase in a hurry, I suggest using a credit card, or, even one of the other popular dealers on the internet. For a steady investor, the lower premium allows me to make smaller regular purchases at a reasonable premium. I have made over eight purchases this year, with the average time from order to arrival being around three weeks. When you consider the time it takes for them to receive the check, wait for it to clear, and then ship, I find that time frame very reasonable. I understand the assignment of the shipping number and I found the updates to be timely and accurate. To really appreciate the services of JM Bullion, I suggest that those that are unhappy with their service should try to source a small purchase locally, review the available selection, and pay the full retail markup, plus sales tax. If you are trying to accumulate bullion, you will find JM to be the most reasonable dealer.

I have ordered silver from JMBullion 5 times now and my first two orders took 2+ weeks after payment had cleared though they sent me an email that they were in the process of switching facilities along with a five dollar credit so I appreciated that. My last 3 orders places towards the end of February have all arrived in a timely fashion and the quality of their products is top notch. No dings, scratches and all items were in mint condition.

I would and have suggested JM Bullion to others interested in purchasing PM's. Products are the best price out there plus product arrives in condition as described. With free shipping on orders the 5-10 days wait is totally acceptable and appreciated. I am trying to place another order right now but unfortunately the JM Bullion website seems to be having some difficulty. Will have to try back later.
