I used to only shop online using APMEX due to their reputation (despite their higher costs). After watching a few unboxing videos on YouTube, I decided to give JM Bullion a shot since they seemed to be well known among the stacking community. I have had nothing but positive experiences so far. They seem to have the best prices online (overall) for small bullion purchases, and their weekly deal is usually too good to pass up. I have now ordered from JM Bullion multiple times and have had no issues.
My only gripe: after multiple orders paying by check, I still do not have "e-check" privileges, which some other buyers seem to have. I contacted their customer service (which has been fantastic), but they couldn't tell me exactly how to become eligible other than to keep paying by check. Not a huge deal, but it is a nuisance considering I rarely use checks (or stamps) anymore,
Overall, I highly recommend JM Bullion for their gold/silver needs. Packing is discrete, shipping times are fast, prices are fantastic, customer service has been great. I just hope I get e-check capabilities before I run out of checks!

Poor Experience
I made an order, it showed up as a debit on my credit card and then JMBullion cancelled my order. They said some nonsense like my address didn't match the credit card. It is rediculous, I use that card daily and my order was showing on the card. Customer service basically said oh well.

Great To Deal With!
I have placed orders with JM ranging from $ 5,000+ to less than $120 and each one has been full attention by the staff. If fact the only problem ever was with the post office losing track of my check and returning it to me. Once we learned what had happened..... The folks at JM thanked ME for my patience! Couldn't be happier
As the title says, I couldn't be happier with JM Bullion. Their prices are the lowest anywhere 99% of the time, and weekly sales present the opportunity to buy bullion at a very low premium over spot. After establishing a relationship with a few orders, the e-check option (EFT withdrawal) makes ordering even easier. Add in the always-free shipping, and it really can't be beat. Free shipping, and delivery in about a week. Customer service is quick to reply with answers to any question. I've never had a bad experience, and will continue to deal exclusively with JM Bullion. They've earned it.

Very Disappointed
I am in the USAF stationed in the UK. I paid with a debit card and my payment had been taken out. Then I got an email stating that my order was canceled because of my payment method to a "dangerous" area. The delivery would have been to the APO on base plus it is very safe here. Probably the safest place I've been stationed. I feel like JM Bullion is trying to push people to use paypal or wire transfers. I do not have easy access to my bank to make wire transfers being over seas. I would still like to be able to make a purchase and see no reason why I should be denied to use my debit card. I will not use JM Bullion again.

Canceled my Order
Last night I placed an order with JM Bullion and today I received an email saying that my order had been canceled. This is what the email said:
We are unable to complete your transaction at this time. As a safe guard to our customers, we have a policy of not completing credit card orders in “high risk areas” due to a high number of fraudulent purchase attempts in your location. We do apologize for the inconvenience, but do have an obligation to protect our customers from fraud. Your funds should reappear back on your credit card within 48 hours. Alternatively, we invite you to explore purchasing by paper check or bank wire. For any questions, please contact us by phone, live chat, or email.
I had my items shipped to a very low crime area, so I'm not sure what the criteria is for a "high risk area". I'm sure the owner or whoever will come on here and reply stating that the process is automated and they use a 3rd party authentication processor. That's all find and dandy...but it sure makes for a bad buying experience. For an industry that runs on real-time pricing, it is very inconvenient to cancel someone's order when they may have locked in a good price.
It's really too bad because I liked their site and I liked the free shipping. I guess my business will have to go to APMEX next time.

Good prices, free shipping and reliable
I have placed 10 orders with JM Bullion in the 12 months, ranging from a few hundred to thousands of $. The prices have been competitive, the shipping has been reasonably fast and the one time I had an issue (had to go to the post office and pay $1.50 to get my shipment due to insufficient postage) I contacted JM Bullion and was offered a $5 off coupon for my next order which was satisfactory.
Knowing that JM Bullion's customer service will address my concerns, should some arise, solidifies them as my dealer of choice.

Terrible Experience with First Order
My first order with this company. Placed an order 3/3/15. Expected delivery date was 3/6/15. After the expected delivery date was several days passed and no movement on the package (it had not even left CA), I emailed customer service. Received a very lame, generic response about the tracking not updating. Several more days passed with still no movement on the package, I emailed customer service and got no response, I emailed customer service again and got no response, finally they responded to my next email. Terrible customer service and still have not received my order.

I had searched the internet, for a site to pick, for my silver purchases. I settled on JM Bullion, because of all the literature, I found on the site. I learned so much, form their literature. I learned which way, that I chose to pick my silver. Coin versus bullion. Then after that, I learned who produced the best and most valuable product. Poor service
Do not do business with this company if you plan to pay by check. I got my order on the 19th day from placing my order. I live only 500 miles from Dallas which is where the check was mail to. The check was electronically scanned by JMB and was paid instantly per my bank yet JMB put a 5 day hold on the check. When they finally shipped my order it was from California. I live east of the Mighty Mississippi so the package traveled about 2500 miles. I have made purchases from other dealer's that have multiple shipping locations in order to cut shipping time why doesn't JMB? I say because customer service isn't a high priority. I will not use or recommend JMB to anyone. I do business with another Texas company paying by check and consistently receive my order within 1 week.

Followup Order
Gave them another try after the CS manager Kathy called me about me bad experience on my last order. She offered me a good discount on my next order, so I tried again. Kathy knows how to give good Customer service and is concerned about their reputation on these blogs enough to follow-up poor experiences reflected in reviews. What needs to happen is all Customer Service reps need to be trained properly by Kathy and given empowerment to help customers to be satisfied(thus may rating on this order). It should not require the manager to fix typical problems. The payment system is outdated in that e-checks should be enabled where customers don't have to mail paper checks and then wait at least a week to clear before the order ships. They price well, offer free shipping that most others don't, have a good CS manager and package well. I would order again unless a competitor offers better service in the future with comparable pricing. .

Of my several orders only one issue. That was resolved timely. While tracking my order some time had passed. Nothing posted to my account that my payment was received. I visited the USPS web page and seen the date and time of my payment arrival. When I contacted customer service, the guy taking my call was helpful and friendly. I presented the information on the date and time of its arrival. Stating he would look into it and call me back in twenty minutes. Sure enough less than twenty minutes later he called. Promptly apologized for the mistake. Then explained the situation in detail. Then offered express shipping to make up for the mistake. Express shipping at the time with my schedule wouldn't have worked for me. Informing him to just send it like normal. Very impressed that offer was made!
My personal recommendation if you pay by check. Be patient; the world wasn't created in one day. Pay a couple dollars more and have a tracker on your envelope. Then you can tell when it was signed for. Should your payment not post in a timely manner. Research your tracker number. Have all facts ready when you call. Have fun watching your order till it arrives!

Great Products at Awesome Prices
I had used APMEX in the past for my purchases, but found the prices at JM Bullion to be much closer to the actual daily market price. I tend to purchase in quantities of 100 as it gets you the best price per ounce.
Great pricing, fast delivery, acceptable packaging, and easy to order. I have switched over. Although I wish they had their own marked bars like APMEX does, but I can live with the Sunshine Mint bars until then.

Best Prices in the Market
I started buying silver from JM Bullion in March of 2014. I only purchase Bars and Rounds 1 to 10 ounces. I now have around 200 ounces and will only buy from them. Why? Best price, fastest shipping, best quality and fastest checkout. I've done my research and found that they are always the best buy no matter what quantities i purchase. Inconsistent packaging
I had 3 small orders with this company and several others with other companies. The idea was to buy smaller items and work my way up when I found someone whom I could fully trust. The first two orders here were alright, but the third really did not make me happy. I bought a "New" Johnson Matthey 1 kilo silver bar. It was poorly wrapped, coated in tiny dents, not covered in a protective wrap, and had very visible fingerprints. I would not recommend this business for medium-large items, as product quality is inconsistent. I will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

1ST Time Buyer
I'll have to admit that I was a little nervous since this was the first time I was ordering anything over the internet other than a software download. I placed my order for a tube of 2015 Silver Maple Leafs on a Monday evening. My credit card company called me Tuesday afternoon wanting to verify that "I" placed the order. The silver arrived on Friday afternoon, nicely packaged. Considering there was about a day delay because of my credit card company's need for verification, I'm still giving 5 stars for delivery time. Johnson Matthey one oz silver bars are stunning. I bought 20 of them, they arrived in lightning speed. only sorry i don't know how to shoot an "unboxing," lol. took out a sheet of bars in a plastic sheet, w/ 20 individual pockets. The bars were more beautiful than i imagined. each has its own serial number. FIRST TIME BUYER !
I recently decided to give JMB a try and was I ever impressed! I have been buying from a local dealer where I have been paying a $3.00 premium on each ounce of silver AND a 7% tax. Never buying metals on-line I was slightly skeptical about the process. However, after ordering from JBM all doubt has been taken away. The premium on my silver was half of what I was paying with FREE shipping with NO tax. I was kept informed with e-mails on the process of my order and with a double check on my invoice for quality assurance gave me peace of mind. 1st order
This was my first order with JM bullion.
I was thoroughly impressed with the response time I have no complaints and I do plan on ordering from this company again. I found their service to me much more reliable than some of their competitors

Having issues with my order
Well I got royally hosed by GoldMart last time and it took 40 days from check clearing to receive my silver. I then went to a local dealer and it was great. With inventories low, I tried JMBullion. Well my order was 90% missing when received. I jumped through all the hoops, pictures, USPS claim, police report and send the information to their support team.
So far they have been really responsive, but have not shipped the replacements yet. So, they are saying all the right stuff, but my order was cleared to ship on 12/9/2014 and it is 12/12/2014 (Friday) without a shipping tracking #.
My original ship time was as expected, just dealing with stolen goods is a pain in the you know what? I wonder how often stuff is stolen, versus not shipped on purpose. I did see a picture of what was supposed to be my order, but man it would be nice if something went smooth one time.
I will revise my review once I receive my complete order.

JM Bullion is one of the few superb dealers I have dealt with over 5 years. Every shipment is done professionally and timely delivered. The products have always been in mint condition and packaged without any indication of contents. I will continue to use their service for my PM needs.

It isn't simple or easy to be their customer
I ordered from them last year over the phone and mailed a check to them. This took an unacceptable amount of time to complete, made worse by the fact that they had run short of the product I ordered between when I ordered it and when my check arrived. But they did fill my order in as timely a manner as they could.
the next time I ordered from them, I resolved to use a Debit card to facilitate a timely completion. Unfortunately, they use a 3rd party security firm to complete this type of order. This company asked me to provide too much information; information that could be use to steal my ID, Because I was not made aware of this from the start of involvement and because I could not research who this 3rd party was and how secure they would keep my info, I chose to stop dealing with this company.

3rd time I ordered and excellent service
With the web site they have, why do some of you even want to talk to a person? Push the button and send a check. Great delivery and notifications, and ships about the same as others..after the check clears. The only thing that could make their service better is to drop in some "free Gold". (That might be a while coming)

horrible customer service very rude
sent a wire day after thanksgiving (JM Bullion closed???) did not hear so called on Dec 5 spoke w a cust serv rep told will not arrive till Dec 8 then waited on hold 5 minutes to speak a "supervisor" named Alexander Hous who was extremely RUDE horrible customer service he told me delay was a glitch in the system as well as the no communication also told me all the banks in the country are closed day after thanksgiving

Poor customer service.
Some effeminate snide named Alexander is whom I spoke with regarding an issue with my order. He was not interested in resolving the matter, couldn't wait to get me off the phone, and move on to other things not related to helping a "customer". I had recently switched from APMEX to JMBullion due to the Free Shipping, but JMBullion management & ownership can thank Alexander for my switch back to APMEX. A Positive Customer Service experience is worth paying a little extra in shipping.

The order was cancelled after few days only because next day the gold prices increased and they sent an email saying
"We are unable to complete your transaction at this time. As a safe guard to our customers, we have a policy of not completing credit card orders in “high risk areas” due to a high number of fraudulent purchase attempts in your location. We do apologize for the inconvenience, but do have an obligation to protect our customers from fraud. Your funds should reappear back on your credit card within 48 hours. Alternatively, we invite you to explore purchasing by paper check or bank wire. For any questions, please contact us by phone, live chat, or email."
It is highly unprofessional and unethical. I have bought gold from my credit card with APMEX and never had any issues. APMEX is highly professional and they send all the order very next business day. I would recommend APMEX and never recommend J M bullion to any one also I will never buy any product in future from them.

Although this only the second time I have purchased silver bullion, I am confident I will go no where else.

I was most impressed by the fast free shipping. I live on the east coast and had my bars in hand in 3 days.
Stay away from dealers using washed up actors and progressive (often wrong) economists to promote there products.
You will find their prices are way higher than jm and other honest dealers.

I ordered on Friday, paid by credit card, and got my order on Monday. I would suspect those that gave negative reviews are due to their own payment issues unrelated to JM Bullion. I have already placed another order.
